MSN Name: The Home Depot Opens a New Store Every 43 HOURS!

SO, soccer was the theme of the last two days and systematically sucked and then was good again. I was soooo looking forward to the Gorge game (for the league title) having come off a wicked week of training, and having envisioned all the plays I was going to make as a right striker (or left stiker, or even, heaven forbid, centre forward.) Of course, as I show up to warm up, all pysched up and ready to go, it all goes terribly wrong. Hugh starts by stressing me out with his talk before the game (so you've had a great week in training, really leading the team with you aggression. if everyone plays like that today we'll be great... etc....) and then... he Left bloody midfield! So, tons of pressure, from me, and numerous (mostly imagined) outside sources, a big game, and a new position to boot.
As we all knew it would be, it was bad. Now, not terrible, and in fact, last year, the terrible metro year, it prolly would have been a good game (shudder) but there were a lot of combining factors to make it seem shitty (the fact I was 27.8 by the end i'm sure didn't help)... We ended up winning, 3-1, Maggie (PK), Heather, Heather. Not a great game, but fine after 2.5 months without a proper game, and on grass even.
After the game, left w/ mom (abandoning green pea, who's under the weather lately) and went to Home Depot, where I found out about flooring for Joey (if you read this, email me about it...) and got stuff for the infamous upstairs l/r. also ixnayed g'pas FUGLY piece of laminate/melamine/particle board (not even MDF) furniture he wanted us to spend 85$ on. I'm gonig to salvage/refinish something instead. (does anyone have a 32inch wide, 34.5 inch wide cupord (w/ doors) for sale under $75?
Also found out about their career fair, tommorow which I'll go to, and get shot down at, but what the fuck, went to bolens, and continued (and subsequently, todaay, finished Who's Your Caddy, a totally hilarious book about golf. (its funny really)).
Today, more soccer, this time a game at Beacon Hill (blech) against the U21 Dunbar women's team. they are 2nd in the Vancouver U21 "a" league.
We won 1-0, assisted by yours truly, on a hopeful looping, far post, top corner shot that might have gone in except for the fact the keeper had arms longer than Katie Eddy. Luckily, she fumbled it through her arms, over her head, and Laura put it in. Only endured a few gravel burns, so overall happy w/ that. Felt much better about my game today.Of course, no pressure, barely any subs, gravel etc. in general, a much better state for my mind to be in.
Went to Chapters and bought my DEBBIE TRAVIS TICKETS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! sooooooooooo excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Feb. 28th!!!!!!! yahooooooooooooooo
then, bolens again, ate lunner... soft taco, and finished the golf book, also did the table, doctor suess themed.. very easy, all the pull was from one shelf :)
then, mom went to a drumming thingy and since she was nervous, I went w/ her to hold her hand... it was funny, took the healing time of hickeys (good book) and was planning on reading in the thin edge of the wedge but they were shut, so walked from the fernwood village to the pandora mcdonalds for no apperant reason other than to kill time, get a drink, dodge numerous sketchy people, and figure out tha tthe hill between fernwood and the mds is actualy much bigger than it seems when you are in a car...
then, back to the community thingy, now armed with liquids, a province, my book, and moms notebook, in which she wanted to me spew poetry.... (ummm yea)
then, BACK to bolens, via starbucks (tazo chai latte (mom - got her hooked on them w/ my homemade one last night) and a vanilla latte for me). read, browsed, etc. then back home to my blog...
going to grab a snack before feeding the animals (ugh) etc before bed. we'll see how the thingy bob at HD goes tommorow, my predicition. Not well. Not well at all.

And finally on behalf of all Canadians, I'm sorry that we're constantly apologizing for things in a passive-aggressive way which is really a thinly veiled criticism. I sincerely hope that you're not upset over this. We've seen what you do to countries you get upset with.

So, just got back from soccer. it was soooo good :) We did moves, one on one in the gauntlet, one on one tourny and then world cup!!! I came 1, 2nd, 4th (i think) It was all fun stuff, and great for me to work on...
Earlier today, we had a 4 hour study session at Romeos' for ASL... I was SO done at the end of it!! Our Final is tommorow. I'm so glad that we did our video thing already. Tommorow, we study for 2 hours, and then we have the test tommorow night. I'm hoping its done early so that I can bugger off to bolens' and help w/ the homeschooling night/make terrible jokes with Joey etc.
Watching 7th heaven, which has been on for soooo long! oh, the trauma on this show :) its brilliant :)
Then. american idol, which i'm taping, b/c the first episode is the only time in the world when someone sings worse than me.
going to go make dinner (pasta w/ parmasan/no sauce ) *the oil; in my oil/vinagarette went goopy :o

Sitting here eating, (what else) KD and pears.. yummy!! Just got back from ASL. We have our final exam on tuesday. I got the pop quiz back - 16.5/20. Would have helped if I'd understood the concept of a sign compound a lil better :)
Tommorow Chrystal and I are going to Christine's house to video our Stories and comparision thingys for the test. Since we are allowed to pre record to save time, it also means multiple takes :)
Shooting begins at 9:15 am (after an hour and 10 minutes of school :p ) and we blocked most of the day to do it, but I hope we'll be done by 12-1ish. Tommorow night is family night so we're going to a movie. Everyone wants to see Calander Girls , but since it's only at Capitol 6, and Oma doesn't go there, then it'll probably be Along Came Polly... If we do go to Calander Girls we'll prolly see Christine and her husband, cause they're going to it
Today I actually asked Louise a couple of questions, which I don't think I've done before - 3 in one class!!! Also managed to avoid Vanessa talks-a-lot lol... (if you think I'm bad......... whooo boy)
This pear is really mushy :p
Started the Sheffield Stuff today which was oooo much fun!!! the tape is cool and you follow along in the books, and do activities, and its all very beuracratically awesome :)
Warning: I'm gonna need a living room to play with soon... any offers?
i'm going to bed, my computer is dying and my back hurts :p

Went to school early today, 8:15ish. nothing for me to do (of course) so read ahead (!) in the text, took a break after an hour or so and went to check out the little cafe by school. The cinnamon brioche is SOOOOOOOOO good!!!! Got a test outline, and studied for a couple hour. Tommorow, I'm writting the test, but that'll take an hour or so, so the next 3 hours? what the hell am I supposed to do?
Got home at 1ish, watched 7th heaven, went downtown w/ gpa, we went to the bank and the levi's store, and then to starfish where we watched the glass blowing. It was really cool, but we had to go, so I could get changed before soccer...
Which was cancelled...........
Sooooo, since the email didn't give us and option (and I wanted to work out anyway (really)) I went to the gym, saw Lacey W from GNS who works there, and Shelagh from ASL , worked out for an hour and a half, read golf digest (i think i'm the only girl there who skips the chatelaine and reads golf digest instead :) )
Went to the bank for mom, and then grabbed some food at thrifty's and brought in dinner.. Watching Gilmore Girls, and taping america's next top model and zoe busiek.... at ten, mom and i are expecte upstairs to watch Johnny English w/ oma. (she saw it 2 hours ago, but thats ok)....
Tommorow, school, ASL, break, ASL....

Anyway, got up early this am, but decided not to go to school, b/c I didn't want to do nothing for 2.5 hours (no work at school, and no mail drop). Went back to bed, and got up at 11:30 ish, just enough time to rip open Sascha's potty putter (hahaha) before racing through the shower and out the door..
Went to starbucks for sign.. met up with Christine, practised our stories (sooo... i'm jack (of beanstalk ilk) and she's georg (who lives on a dutch tulip farm)). We also worked on our comparison stories . I'm doing Nemo and Dory.
Nemo: my friend. name nemo. clown fish. student. kindergarten. speak english. live 2 place. #1 - ocean, sea anenome house. #2 - dentist office. travel with swimming. single.
Dory: my friend. name dory. angel fish. not working, but goes to fish eater's annymous with her friend. shark name Bruce. speak english and whale. live ocean. travel with swimming. single.
Both: famous actors in movie name finding nemo. both know Marvin. Nemo's Dad, Dory's Best friend. *do they end up together at the end of the movie???*
Random things you need to know in ASL!!! we're going for the bonus creativity marks, damn it!!!
Went to get Lauren and Alex, tutored Lauren for 1.75 hours, we got most of her homework done, science (the stuff you remember about electron transfers!!!), Math (the stuff you remember about arithmatic/geometric sequences) and English (the stuff you never learned about compound predicates!!!!)
went to sign, only to be greeted w/ a pop quiz on unit 5. I think I did fairly well, except for one of the questions, where Louise signed. Your"point" family know ASL (q) and I saw divorce instead of family, so on my test I wrote: Your"point" divorced know ASL (q) duh!!!!!
Christine was late (as usual lol), so she missed 13 questions!!! rough!! she had a good excuse today though - A man driving a semi trailer had a heart attack, and crashed sstraight into the ditch, right infront of her house!! she couldn't get out of her driveway!
Learned how to jump a car today for a (very hot) guy stuck at royal roads, shitting myself about blowing up (we didn't :p) but it was his alternator. I offered to call CAA, but he said since he worked there it wasn't a big deal...
Came home, and my Sheffield Course, and my b-day present from Tonya were here!!! Thanks Tonya!! wicked hairbrush, some scrapbooking stuff, and PENS!!! boo-ya!!!
The Sheffield stuff is SOOOOOOO cool!! course books, projects, video tape, audio tape(s), binder thingy, paint, pallete, graph paper, forms (upon forms upon forms) tape measure... and stuff cool ass stuff!!!!! hehe
anyway, got to get up bloody early tommorow for school, so mom can take my car to SMU (not so sure why...)

Alrighty Then...
So.... I've been bad, I know!!! Just for the record this blog is rated R, and should be treated as such. Grandparentals should refrain from reading it, for a variety of reasons :) *just as they should NOT watch American Pie/American Wedding/Chasing Amy*
Started soccer today which was good... My touch has deserted me, but it was fun to get out again...
We did warmup, shooting/volleying (shocking on my part), fitness 3.5 minutes/2.5 minutes sprint square(not as shocking), soccer tennis (fairly shocking that my team couldn't get a single point), Soccer Volleyball (fairly UNshocking on my team's part - we won :) )
Storefront moved today into a brand spanking new building.. Bad Girls School is moving up in the world... I don't have a sausage of work to do there which is a bit useless, b/c I don't enjoy getting up at 8:00 and pissing around for hours making it look like I'm actually doing something (hmmmm, how long can I take to photocopy some stuff for my grad book?) Weird because they were still painting, moving/unpacking, testing alarms etc...
Unfourtunatly, the grad portfolio, which I usually work on when there is nothing to do, got handed in today *fingers crossed* and yes Peta, I got it in on the due date!
Started my new Monday/Wednesday routine today which is - go to school for 8 (ish), go to the gym for moderate areobics from 9:15-10:15, go back to school, and work till 12-12:30 ish.. I felt very athletic with soccer on top of that... Maybe cause I didn't do a whole lot over the holidays ;p.. Though running around after 4 (.5) kids was strenuous, and shopping combines cardio and weightlifting... honest...
Also just found out that I have no idea how to play checkers, which is funny, Alie and I were playing on MSN... We're currently attempting Hexic which neither of us has played before
Saw Mona Lisa Smile yesterday which was SOOOOO good!!!! I really really really liked it!!! I'm glad that through some oma idyosyncrasy (sp?) we ended up seeing it over Calender Girls (O doesn't like Capitol 6, which is the only place it was playing). Everyone in it was sooooo good!!
Sooooo... New Years Resolution (added on to: #1. Get a handicap - got a golf membership (club tba) for my birthday (thanks mom, sascha, peta, aly, toby :))
#2. Write regularly (or more than once every 4 months!!!)

Alrighty Then...
So.... I've been bad, I know!!! Just for the record this blog is rated R, and should be treated as such. Grandparentals should refrain from reading it, for a variety of reasons :) *just as they should NOT watch American Pie/American Wedding/Chasing Amy*
Started soccer today which was good... My touch has deserted me, but it was fun to get out again...
We did warmup, shooting/volleying (shocking on my part), fitness 3.5 minutes/2.5 minutes sprint square(not as shocking), soccer tennis (fairly shocking that my team couldn't get a single point), Soccer Volleyball (fairly UNshocking on my team's part - we won :) )
Storefront moved today into a brand spanking new building.. Bad Girls School is moving up in the world... I don't have a sausage of work to do there which is a bit useless, b/c I don't enjoy getting up at 8:00 and pissing around for hours making it look like I'm actually doing something (hmmmm, how long can I take to photocopy some stuff for my grad book?) Weird because they were still painting, moving/unpacking, testing alarms etc...
Unfourtunatly, the grad portfolio, which I usually work on when there is nothing to do, got handed in today *fingers crossed* and yes Peta, I got it in on the due date!
Started my new Monday/Wednesday routine today which is - go to school for 8 (ish), go to the gym for moderate areobics from 9:15-10:15, go back to school, and work till 12-12:30 ish.. I felt very athletic with soccer on top of that... Maybe cause I didn't do a whole lot over the holidays ;p.. Though running around after 4 (.5) kids was strenuous, and shopping combines cardio and weightlifting... honest...
